Welcome to the SWMS PTSA page!

The purpose of the PTSA is to support our students. In addition, we support the faculty, staff, parents, and local community throughout the school year. We are supporting Southwest Middle School’s (SWMS) efforts to ensure a safe environment for that encourages learning, creativity, and appreciating diversity for everyone.

A successful PTSA is not possible without engaged parents and family members like you. Middle school is an exciting and important time in our children’s lives.

There are several ways you can be a part of the SWMS PTSA and support the school:

  • Become a PTSA member. Login on to the Member Hub here.
  • Attend the monthly meetings at school in the Media Center. Meetings are generally held at 5:30 p.m. and the Student Advisory Committee (SAC) meeting follows.

  • Take part in School Spirit Nights, Teacher Appreciation, Amazon Wish Lists for Teachers, the Annual Walk-a-Thon, and other events.

  • Volunteer. Don’t forget – all volunteers must be approved in ADDitions.

The PTSA uses several channels to communicate what’s new, updates about PTSA events and activities and more. You do not need to be a member to follow and support our many programs. Stay up to date by registering at the Member Hub; following the official SWMS PTSA social channels on Facebook, and Instagram; and by reading the weekly SWMS newsletter

If you have any questions about PTSA or suggestions for how you can get involved, email us at [email protected].

We look forward to having an incredible 2022-2023 school year.
